#5 Seed: The 2010/11 Brigham Young Cougars made it all the way to a # 3 ranking before faltering due to an unfortunate front line player loss late (behavior code violation) in the season.  They will always be remembered for the Jimmer Fredette show, where home or road crowds stood a good chance of watching him put up 30 on the Cougar's opponent.  Fredette's shot at home games was so dead-on it must have set an unofficial NCAA record for swishes, especially when nationally ranked rival San Diego State came to Utah.  It's a shame we'll never know just how good and how far this Brigham Young ball team might have gone in March of 2011 had they been left to run at full power.
