#12 Seed: The Texas A & M Aggies of 2006/07 featured outstanding ball control, which elevated all other areas of their play.  Coach Billy Gillespie's team was led by Acie Law, a do-everything guard who has achieved a degree of success in the pro ranks, but was dominant in CBB!  Law was assisted by strong front line players Joseph Jones and Antavas Kavaliauskus, as well as Josh Carter - who hit 50% of this three point attempts!  The 3 seeded Aggies were shown the dance door by the 2nd seeded Memphis.  Coach John Calipari's Memphis Tigers were saved at the free throw line by  Antonio Andersen, stopping A & M's Final Four dream one point short of achievement in their 65-64 Elite 8 loss.
