#2 Seed: A rare team of both dominance and resilience, the 2007/08 Kansas Jayhawks provided college basketball with it's most exciting championship moments of the 2002/11 digital decade.  This KU team was as deep in talent as any March squad, and benefited enormously when an injured Brandon Rush extended his KU stay after tearing up his knee the prior spring. Bill Self's team rallied together after Rodrick Stewart was injured while practicing the day before KU's dramatic Final Four game against former coach Roy Williams and UNC.  It was the Jayhawks resilience that ultimately took them to the programs third title, with Mario Chalmers hitting a dramatic 3 to tie things up with a completely exhausted Memphis final game opponent.  John Calipari's Tigers had missed 4 of their last 5 freethrows, allowing KU to work their way back from a 9 point deficit with 2 minutes to go.  Bill Selfs team ultimately took the coveted championship title back for a celebrated banner hanging cermony in Lawrence. ROCK CHALK!
