#15 Seed: The Villanova Wildcats 0f 2008/09 leveraged their strong Big East schedule experience to make a deep run in the March dance.  Coach Jay Wright's team was led by power forward Dante Cunningham, and a pair of strong guards in Scottie Reynolds and Corey Fischer.  They did everything well, and overachieved their way to the Final Four by taking out Big East rival Pittsburgh on a thrilling shot by Reynolds with time expiring.  They were bracketted up against mighty UNC's National Championship squad at the Final Four, resulting in their dance exit.  Highlights of their March campaign included impressive victories over UCLA and perennial power Duke, and a stunning dagger into the heart of rival Pitt in their elite 8 thriller.
