Round of 16
#13 Seed: Led by NBA lottery picks Jason Williams, Mike Dunleavy, and Carlos Boozer, the defending champion 2001/02 Duke Blue Devils were at or near the top of the writers and coaches polls throughout the season.  They were an offensive powerhouse, but showed some weakness in the paint and at the free throw line, with poor FT's sinking their resilience rating amongst our decade dance of 68 teams.  Indiana overcame a 17 point deficit by leveraging these dual weaknesses, with Duke lending a hand by hitting a mere 10 of 19 from the charity strip. The Hoosiers defeated the Blue Devils 74-73 in a Sweet 16 upset that sent March shock waves through the college basketball world.
