#15 Seed: The 2008/09 Kansas Jayhawks entered the season as defending National champions, and immediately reloaded with young and developed talent.  Sherron Collins took over the point, with Cole Aldrich and the freshman Morris twins securing the paint.  The Jayhawks used a dominant front line to run their High Low offense, a staple for Bill Self's teams. Turnovers and fouls were this Kansas squad's achilles heel.  It was turnovers that drove a to a hard fought loss to a well-disciplined 08/09 Michigan State Spartan team-on-a-mission. These young Jayhawks team greatly into the dominant force they would regularly demonstrate throughout the followup 2009/10 CBB season.
