#11 Seed: The 2005/06 Duke Blue Devils basketball team were an offensive powerhouse.  They had some issues with ball control and paint when compared to other teams of the 2001/02 digital dance invitees.  Led by legendary sharpshooter J.J. Redick and center Shelden Williams, they were forced out of the March 2006 dance by LSU and Glenn 'Big Baby' Davis.  Duke in general and Redick in particular suffered an off-shooting night, which coach Coach Krzyzewski graciously acknowledged 'had something to do with LSU's defensive effort'.  LSU, with their size, strength, and athleticism, was one of the worse possible statistical matchup's for Duke, resulting in the Blue Devil's Sweet Sixteen dance departure.
